Denise began with Jeff Russell Real Estate 6 years ago as an in house appraiser. After only a few months, she was tasked to head up the company as Operations Manager and responsibilities included the day to day operations of the business. Her role in the organization is making sure that all of our processes are in line with each client’s individual needs so that we can continue to meet and exceed the client’s expectations. Because she understands property values from a financial as well as a retail value prospective, she is in charge of ensuring that all value opinions are seen both from the eye of an Appraiser and the prospective of a selling Broker. This complex understanding allow for more inclusive and elaborate Comparative Market Analysis (CMA’s). Denise also coordinates inspections, preservation, maintenance, and repairs of all Properties from listing to the close of escrow.
Denise began her corporate career in the financial arena working with Accountants processing IRS tax returns while attending college full time. She then transitioned into a 7 year career with Packard Bell running their Billing and MIS/IT Department. After a brief stay in the mid-west, moved back to California to continue her career in the manufacturing industry as a Senior Buyer for Clifford Electronics and then as a Purchasing Manager with Hitachi Koki. In 2000, she received her Bachelors’ Degree from Cal State Northridge. 2 years later, she began her real estate career by obtaining her California State Appraising License and went on to open her own Appraising company where her and her team completed over 6000 appraisals from 2003-2013 in 5 counties throughout Southern California. Denise obtained her California State Brokers license well as her California State Notary License and Loan Document Signing Certification in 2007. In addition, Denise is trained as an PARR inspector for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) to respond if the need arise to assess damage claims by homeowners in natural disaster areas.
